I have had two collages accepted into the d'ART Center 20th annual Mid-Atlantic Exhibition: "Archival Man", 8x8 and "Garden Surprise", 5x7. According to the Center, "This exhibit has proven to be the most competitive of all previous Mid-Atlantic Exhibits with less than 1/8 of the submissions accepted." Solo Show at Gallery West
My solo show at Gallery West runs from September 9 - October 4, 2009. There are 14 total works in the show, 12 of which were painted specifically for this exhibit. I am very excited to share them with you. Regular gallery hours are Wednesday-Sunday, 11am-6pm. The gallery is located in Old Town Alexandria at 1213 King Street. League of Reston Artists "Be Square" Judged Exhibit

The League of Reston Artists presents "Be Square", a judged exhibit at the Jo Anne Rose Gallery in Reston, Virginia. The two pieces I have in this exhibit are "Chinese Tulip" and "Tulip Couture", both mixed media, 6x6. A reception will be held on Sunday, April 12 from 2-4pm.

A special League of Reston Artists exhibit is being held at the Herndon ArtSpace in Herndon, Virginia. This is a juried show and the two pieces that I had accepted are "The Other Side of Tulips", 20x20, and "Lilies and Greens", 20x20. "Lilies and Greens" was awarded 3rd Place in the show.

LRA at Lorton Workhouse

The Leaugue of Reston Artists was invited by the Lorton Workhouse in Lorton, Virginia to submit works for a juried show in the Main Gallery. The two pieces I have on exhibit there are "South Jersey Shore" and "Spring Garden Light" (below). The show will run through November 3, 2008.
